Your privacy is important to us, and it is Fusetools AS's policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our websites and services.
Accordingly, we have developed this Policy in order for you to understand how we collect, use, communicate, disclose and make use of personal information.
Before or at the time of collecting personal information, we will identify the purposes for which information is being collected. We will collect and use personal information solely with the objective of fulfilling those purposes specified by us and for other compatible purposes in addition to those required by law.
We will only retain personal information as long as necessary for the fulfilment of those purposes. We will collect personal information by lawful and fair means and, where appropriate, with the knowledge or consent of the individual concerned.
Personal data should be relevant to the purposes for which it is to be used and, to the extent necessary for those purposes, should be accurate, complete and up-to-date. We will protect personal information by reasonable security safeguards against loss or theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification. We will make information about our policies and practices relating to the management of personal information readily available.
Information you provide to us
This is collected when you register an account, create or modify your profile, subscribe to newsletters or sign up for events through or website or other digital channels. This will usually be limited to your name and contact details, and potentially your job title and employer. Partner / Customer profiles on our portal might be enriched with further information such as the industry you work in and which customers you provide Fuse apps for.
Content you submit such as feedback, comments, surveys, contests, activities and events on websites owned or operated by us will be collected and potentially acted upon.
In addition to your profile(s) you will be able to create support tickets, change requests and orders through our portal. Any information you choose to include in forms, chat, descriptions or attachments will be stored in our logs related to the issue, request, order or similar. Requests submitted through email, phone, and meetings will also be logged to be further handled by Fuse.
Information we collect when you use our Services
Cookie-data is stored in your browser, and how to clear them and opt out will differ depending on the browser you use. To illustrate, here's where you find it in Google Chrome:
We collect information about the device you use to access our websites. This device information includes IP address, URLs of referring/exit pages, browser type, operating system and device identifiers.
We keep track of certain information about visits and use of our services, such as what features are being used when and for how long.
Information we receive from other sources
Other users may provide information about you when submitting content through our websites or support channels. An example of this could be another user in your organization submitting your contact details in a support ticket or change request designating you as the technical contact for the issue.
We receive information about you when you integrate or link a third-party service to our services. An example of this is if you are logging in using credentials from another company (e.g. Google) for authentication.
Some of our partners help us market and promote our products, generate leads for us, and resell our products. We may receive information from these partners, such as billing information, technical contact information, company name, what products and/or services you have purchased or may be interested in, what events you have attended, and what country you are in.
We may receive information from third-party advertising and research partners on you and your engagement with our Services, forums and online advertisements.
How we use the information we collect
The way we use information about you depends on which products and services you use, what sites and communities you take part in, how you use them, and any communication you have with us.
Some information is a must-have for us to deliver our products and services to you. This includes contact details, user information and some technical information. Without this we would not be able to authenticate or contact you, provide customer service or integrate, operate and maintain the services we offer. We practice the principle of data minimisation, so only the information needed to run a smooth service and operation is used for these purposes.
Use of cookie data and other tracking technologies (but not tracking as in geolocation) are used to improve and personalise your experience in our online touchpoints. More about this and how you can turn it off in your browser in the section "Information we collect when you use our Services" earlier in this Privacy Notice.
We also combine some of the information we have about you, your company and your products which Fuse provide user interfaces for, to deliver personalised customer service, updates and offers. Direct communication as well as our Newsletters are typical mediums where this kind of information may be combined to create industry-specific content and offers.
We may use your contact information to notify you about relevant updates, news and offers regarding our services and products. We may also contact you about community activities, blog posts and events where partners are encouraged to contribute. Note that you can always opt out of promotional emails from Fuse. A link to opt out will be included in every promotional email.
We use your information to resolve technical issues you encounter, to respond to your requests for assistance, to analyze crash information, and to repair and improve the Services.
Where required by law or where we believe it is necessary to protect our legal rights, interests and the interests of others, we use information about you in connection with legal claims, compliance, regulatory, and audit functions, and disclosures in connection with the acquisition, merger or sale of a business.
At Fuse we only collect and process personal identifiable information when we have legal bases to do so as described in applicable EU laws. One or more of the following applies for all of our processing of personal information:
Fuse has implemented reasonable security measures in order to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. While we cannot guarantee that these events will not occur; we make reasonable efforts to secure the information we process.
